Benefits Bank Services: Families can sign up for SNAP (Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program), Medicaid, FI (Family Independence), Tax Services, FASFA (Free Application for Federal and Student Aid), and Voters Registration at The Social Change Initiative. 

Strengthening Families Program: The Strengthening Families Program (SPF) is an evidence-based family skills training program found to significantly improve parenting skills and family relationships, reduce problem behaviors, delinquency and alcohol and drug abuse in children and to improve social competencies and school performance. SPF is offered in 14 week sessions for families who have children from 3 years of age up to 16 years of age. 

Real Mothers Are Moms: Real Mothers Are Moms is open to all mothers in Abbeville, Greenwood, and Newberry Counties. Meetings are currently held jointly with Fatherhood meetings. Real Mothers Are Moms is a culturally-responsive, rigorous parenting initiative in which mothers of all age groups are to equipped, educated, and empowered with the necessary tools to engage their children positively in their children's quest to raise happy, healthy, and resilient young children. Parents and future parents participating in this course will learn how to be better mothers and grandmothers. The Real Mothers are Moms Program offers over 60 different group and individualized sessions on attitude, self-esteem, appropriate choices, budget/financial management, and teamwork parenting. 

Real Fathers Are Dads: Real Fathers Are Dads is open to all fathers in Abbeville, Greenwood, and Newberry Counties. Fatherhood meetings are held once a month in both Abbeville, Greenwood, and Newberry Counties. Real Fathers Are Dads is a culturally-responsive, rigorous parenting initiative in which fathers of all age groups are to equipped, educated, and empowered with the necessary tools to engage their children positively in as they work to raise healthy, happy, respectful, and resilient children. Parents and future parents participating in t his course will learn how to be better fathers and grandfathers. The Real Fathers are Dads Program offers over 60 different group and individualized sessions on attitude, self-esteem, appropriate choices, budget/financial management, and teamwork parenting. The Real Fathers are Dads Fatherhood Initiative also utilizes National Fatherhood Initiative Curricula: 24/7  Dad, and Doctor DAD, as well as the Fatherhood Development Curriculum with the National Partnership for Community Leadership. 

Parents Anonymous Parenting Groups: Parents Anonymous Parenting Groups are offered in Abbeville, Greenwood, Newberry, and McCormick Counties. Parents Anonymous Inc. is a nationally recognized community of parents, organizations and volunteers committed to: (1) Strengthening Families and Building Strong Communities, (2) Achieving Meaningful Parent Leadership and Shared Leadership, (3) Improving programs, creating meaningful policy change, and contributing to the body of knowledge through research and evaluation efforts, and (4) Ensuring that we Stand with Families by fostering personal empowerment and resilient human spirit to harness vital social capital. The Parents Anonymous Program group meets weekly, is free of charge to parents and caregivers and is evidenced-based utilizing mutual support and shared leadership to empower, inspire and create long term positive changes in their families.
